It's simple. When we have a go ourselves we are more prone to being successful, learning from mistakes and generally more happy in ourselves.

When your child tries for themselves:

  • They will be enthusiastic to keep having a go.

  • They will learn that making a mistake is one way of learning.

  • They will be more prone to keep trying and not expecting others to solve problems for them.

  • No body takes pleasure when the task is taken from you. It actually takes away your interest.

  • When you show the initiative to a have a go you grow in personal confidence and self belief.

  • When a child keeps trying it strengthens emotional regulation.

  • A child develops an inquiring mind from taking risks and having a go.

  • When a child has a go they are developing problem solving skills.

  • A child learns patience and persistence when they are allowed to a have a go.

  • Improves creativity when a child keeps trying.
